Christopher Michael
Hill
Jul 10, 1999 — Oct 30, 2025
Northport
With heavy hearts we write that Christopher Michael Hill, passed Oct 29th 2025. Chris was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who touched so many hearts in his short time with us. Christopher was born on July 10, 1999, in Spokane, Washington, to Freedom Hill, and was raised with love and guidance by Freedom and Kurtis Bering.
He grew up in Hunters and Northport, places that helped shape his easygoing spirit, strong work ethic, and love for the outdoors. After graduating from Northport High School, Christopher chose a path of service and honor by joining the United States Army. His courage and dedication to his country reflected the kind of man he was, loyal, determined, and selfless. His army achievements are as follows: ARMY ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL (3RD AWARD) ARMY GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL//NATIONAL DEFENSE SERVICE MEDAL//GLOBAL WAR ON TERRORISM SERVICE MEDAL//ARMY SERVICE RIBBON//OVERSEAS SERVICE RIBBON. When he came home, Christopher found joy in the simple things that mattered most: cruising down the road, spending time with family, laughing with friends, and being with his dogs. But above all, his heart belonged to his momma. The bond they shared was unbreakable and full of love, respect, and friendship.
Christopher's presence filled every room he entered. His smile, his humor, and his protective nature left a lasting mark on everyone lucky enough to know him. He was the kind of person who made you feel seen, supported, and loved.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harold Hill, and is survived by his mother, Freedom Hill; Father Figure Kurtis Bering, siblings, Patrick McMullen, (BobbieJo Rios,) Sarah Bering, and Lindsay Bering, Billy Rizzo; his nieces and nephews; and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory forever.
Christopher's story doesn't end here, it continues in the hearts of those who loved him and in the laughter and memories we'll share when we speak his name. His spirit will always ride beside us, on every quiet country road and every moment of family togetherness.
