Charles "Chuck" Dennis Jones

Charles "Chuck" Dennis Jones, age 61, a resident of Kettle Falls, WA passed away on November 1, 2022 in Colville, WA.  Chuck was born on July 22, 1961 in Lansing, MI the son of Dennis and Brigette (Olga) Jones.

He spent many of his formative years in Colorado before the family moved to Orofino, ID.  There he married and began a family. Together they also resided in  Alamosa, CO, Deer Park, WA and the Potlatch area near Moscow, ID as he followed work opportunities and their family continued to grow.  In the late 1980's, Chuck and his wife divorced.  He then worked for a time in Pullman, WA.  Chuck had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed the opportunity to work and live in N.E. Washington and work as an environment consultant.  Much of this time was in the Inchelium, WA area where he worked for the Colville Confederated Tribe in cooperation with their Department of Fish and Wildlife.  Most recently, Chuck moved to Kettle Falls where he could spend time and care for his mother.

When he wasn't counting fish, he could be found in the streams with a rod and reel catching Rainbow and Brook trout.  He also enjoyed turning wrenches on older car and trucks.  His family will remember him as a man who was loving and dedicated to his work.

Charles was preceded in death by his sister, Christine Jones and father, Dennis Jones.

He is survived by his mother, Brigette DeMars of Kettle Falls, WA three children:  Jason Jones of Long Beach, MS, Billy Jones of Kiln, MS and Jennifer Peterson of Saucier, MS; 5 grandchildren and a host of extended family.

The family of Charles "Chuck" D.
