Cathy M. Hamilton's Obituary
In Loving Memory
Cathy M. Hamilton
Cathy M. Hamilton age 76 passed away peacefully in Coleville Washington on November 28th 2022 following a lengthy battle with multiple forms of cancer.
Cathy was born on April 3rd 1946 to John and Leatha Hamilton in Everett, Washington.
Throughout her life Cathy lived in various states all across the country, yet she always returned to Washington.
While raising a family, Cathy held many jobs, most notably; a certified timekeeper through the American Boxing Federation (a position she acquired while working with her son Rob), she worked as a CNA, and many years as a Community Transit Bus Driver before her retirement.
Although she endured many hardships through her life, Cathy found solace in her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She was known to pray for anyone in need. She was a very giving person, learned to play piano by ear, enjoyed singing Southern Gospel Hymns and attending church. She was a wonderful cook, loved to play bingo, read about and visited Amish Communities, and enjoyed watching Hallmark movies.
At a young age Cathy was preceded in death by her mother Leatha, then later her sister Patricia Ann, an infant daughter Tammy Fisher, her father John Hamilton, and her older brother Jerry Hamilton.
She is survived by her seven children; John (Sandra) Ackerman of Marysville, Washington, David (Maria) Ackerman of Vancouver Washington, Connie (Denver) Cox of West Lafayette Indiana, Don (Julie) Fisher of Spring Hill Florida, Holly (Tony) Anderman of Spokane Washington, Rob (Rhonda) Fisher of Evans Washington, Kim Fisher of Kettle Falls Washington, as well as numerous grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren.
