Catherine Ann (Cathy) Watson

June 29, 1972 – December 3, 2024

Catherine was born in Walla Walla, Washington.  She was the 4th daughter and youngest child of Ashley S. and Carolyn J. (Bond) Watson. Cathy grew up in several small towns in rural Washington state, including Prescott, Mabton, Washtucna, Pateros, Soap Lake, Granite Falls, Cheney, and Valley.  She graduated High School in 1990 from Soap Lake.  She went on to attend Eastern Washington University and worked toward becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant, which proved helpful when she helped care for her maternal Grandparents, from 1996-2006, until their passing.  Family and friends were priority one for Cathy and she never hesitated to help.  During her stay with her grandparents, she me the lover of her life, Marc Murray.  Marc and Cathy relocated from Western Washington to Eastern Washington to be near her parents.  Cathy then helped care for her elderly parents, from 2006-2023, until their passing.  Cathy loved horse riding, painting and drawing, and telling a good joke.  She was so kind, always lending an ear or a hug.  If you had a story to tell, she wanted to hear it.  She loved her family, friends, and animals!  Marc and Cathy spent 25 wonderful years together and shared their love of laughter, cats, and being grandparents.  She had an infectious laugh that brightened up any situation.  Cathy is survived by her Husband, Marc, 5 cats, her mother-in-law, Michelle, stepdaughter, Emyli, granddaughters, Matyli and Penelope, sisters, Theresa Hill (Dan), Dianna Craner (Edward) and Nancy Burks (Mike Fraley) and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.  She will be greatly missed and her tragic loss leaves a big hole within her family.
