Carl W. McDaniels

Carl William McDaniels, 72 passed away March 7, 2025, at Sacred Heart Medical Center, Spokane WA. Carl was born on March 11, 1952, in Port Angeles, WA to Father Robert Earl McDaniels and Mother Viola Belle Cassell.

Carl Joined the Marine Corps in 1970, served in Vietnam, attained the rank of E-4 (Corporal) and was honorably discharged. Following his return, he began a career at a local log yard that continued for 41 years, holding positions including loader operator and planer operator.

In 1975, he married Leah Enquist and had two children. Carl and Leah divorced many years later. In 1992, he married Connie E. Level and raised several children and grandchildren. He loved his family and sharing his love of the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and covered his walls with family photos and trophies.

He is survived by his children; Robert and Shaina; stepchildren Joseph, Jacob, Joshua and Melissa and numerous grandchildren / great grandchildren; as well as his sisters Janet, Mari, Lonnie and Toni. Carl was preceded in death by his wife Connie, sister Barbara, and brothers George, David and Lenny.

There will be a memorial announcement for Carl at a later date.  Danekas Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
