In Loving Memory

Bonnie Bacharach Inman

Bonnie Bacharach Inman, age 68, passed away peacefully at her Colville, Washington home on January 2, 2023.  Bonnie was born on November 3, 1954 in Clarksdale, Mississippi to Marvin Jerome and Norma (Pries) Bacharach.

Raised in Clarksdale, MS, Bonnie's family would relocate in her teens to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and she would finish her high school education here, graduating from John Marshall High School with the class of 1972.  From here, Bonnie began her undergraduate studies at the University of Oklahoma, graduating with her bachelor's degree in education in 1977.  Bonnie knew her dreams stretched far beyond the bounds of her hometown of Clarksdale, and even Oklahoma City, so she journeyed south to Dallas, Texas in the early 80's and began working for Braniff Airlines, coordinating trips for one of the airlines out of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

While living in Dallas, Bonnie would make friends with a local massage therapist, Michael Inman.  Over time, their friendship was able to blossom into love, and the two were joined in marriage on March 2, 1986.  In search of their first adventure together as newlyweds, the couple began looking to the Pacific Northwest, and made the decision to place their roots in the San Juan Islands in the Puget Sound.  Michael and Bonnie would go on to operate a set of 7/11 locations around Arlington, Washington, and started their family. First, they welcomed Desiree into the world then Jennifer and Heather in the following years.

Soon after Heather was born, Michael's father began to experience health problems, the pair made the decision to relocate to Republic, Washington, so they could help care for him. Here, they were able to enjoy the beautiful hiking and camping sites the Inland Northwest has to offer, and it was here in Eastern Washington. Michael and Bonnie would eventually relocate to Colville, where their daughters would complete their education and Bonnie worked as a travel agent at Colville Travel until 2001.  It was at this point that Bonnie found her true passion, and began a 21 year career as a paralegal at the law office of Helen "Dee" Hokom for about a decade, and then moving on to work as a paralegal for Golden Law Office.  Bonnie was truly passionate about her work in law, she both loved her job and the people that she worked with, and this gave her the drive to continue working up until the week before her passing.

Through both of her cancer diagnoses, Bonnie's spirit was constantly lifted by spending time with her loving daughters, cherishing granddaughters, adoring husband, and best friends. She chose a spiritual path to walk through life, and had a great love of life, god, and nature. She loved exercising and was physically fit right up to her cancer diagnosis. They spent countless days watching law movies, enhanced by her legal know-how, sharing stories, and making memories along with her beautiful granddaughters, Oriana and Leilani.

Bonnie is predeceased by her father, Marvin Jerome Bacharach. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Michael Inman; her daughters, Desiree (Devin) Avila, Heather Inman, and Jennifer Inman; her two granddaughters, Oriana and Leilani Avila. In addition Bonnie leaves behind her mother, Norma Bacharach; sister Rabbi Shaina Bacharach and her husband, Robert Dick Jr.; sister Debbie Blair and her husband, Dr. Bob Blair; brother Judge Robert Bacharach and his wife Rhonda Bacharach, and brother Phil Bacharach and his wife, Dr. Mariane Ingles along with lots of nephews, nieces and cousins.
