Obituary

Arthur Roland Green passed away May 17, 2022 at his home in Addy, Washington. He was born November 7, 1931 in Looking Glass, Oregon to the late James and Halcha Green. Art had four sisters; Mary, Gladys, Alta, Leslie and three brothers; Forest, Richard and Dale.

As a young man Art was raised on a small farm in Shelton, Washington. After his discharge from the army in 1956, he moved to Prineville, Oregon where he worked for the U.S. Forest Service. Art then moved to Federal Way, Washington where he worked on Sea Tac Airport and then moved to Summit Valley where he bought 250-acre farm and had a concrete company in Chewelah Washington. Later he would go on to Alaska were he worked in the Oil Fields as a Crane Operator until he retired in the 90's. After retirement Art and his wife Charlotte of 56 years did Missionary work in the States and Mexico for the next ten years. He also liked fishing, traveling and volunteering.

He is preceded in death by Jackie Pesicka who passed in 2012. Art is survived by his daughter Teresa Perkins and son Mike Green and his wife Rochelle, Dwayne Trotter and wife Mary, 9 grand kids, 13 great-grand kids and 2 great-great grand kids.

A funeral service will be held May 31, 2022 at Summit Valley Community Church, 2371 Summit Valley Rd, Addy, WA 99101 at 10:00AM with Military honors will be performed.
