Arleen Forgey of Chewelah passed away December 13, 2023 with family at her side. Arleen was born in Fairbanks, Alaska to Leon G. Loomis and Eleanor Benson (Loomis).

Arleen grew up in Bremerton and later in Edmonds, Washington where she graduated from Edmonds High School. Arleen met her husband of 62 years G. William Forgey while working for Boeing in Seattle. Two children graced their marriage while living in Lynnwood, Washington. Arleen worked at Little Red School House as a Teachers Aide with handicapped children. After Bill retired, they moved to Chewelah where they made their home. Arleen loved taking long rides with Bill and enjoyed watching the many types of birds and animals around their home outside of Chewelah.

Arleen was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Leon, sister, Cherie and husband Bill Forgey.

She is survived by son, Guy (Tammy) Forgey of Chewelah, Wa, daughter, Keri Forgey of Everett, Wa, grandsons, Cody Forgey of Boise, ID, Devin Tucker of Lynnwood, Wa, granddaughter, Erycka (Debbie) Miller of Spanaway, WA and great grandsons, Brody, Lincoln and Wyatt Tucker of Lynnwood, Washington.
