Ann Evelyn Coffman

1936- 2023 Obituary

Ann Evelyn Coffman (Bailey) a 35-year resident of Colville, WA, passed away on December 28, 2023.

Ann was born on July 10, 1936, in Ewan, WA, the only child of Lewis and Cecil (Pierce) Bailey.

Ann graduated from St. John High School in 1954 and then obtained a Secretarial Science degree from Kinman Business University Spokane, WA, in 1956. She then attended State College of Washington.  While at "WSU," She met and married Joseph Peter Coffman at St. John, WA, in 1956.

Ann worked as a teacher's Aid, was a member of many clubs including the Stevens County Republican Women. She loved square dancing, photography, and genealogy. Ann enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially for deer. She lived in Sultan, WA, for 25 years and was kept very busy raising three extremely active boys.  Ann was a member of the Methodist church and introduced her young children to Christianity.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 2018. Ann is survived by her three sons, David Coffman (Mary Ann) of Edmond, OK; Bryan Coffman of North Pole, AK; Roger Coffman (Lisa) of Poulsbo, WA; five grandchildren: Allison, Cristina, Katherine, Cody and Kimberly; and two great grandchildren: Maggie Jane and Rafael; along with her stepsister Patricia Lesser of Spokane, WA.
