Andrew J. Griesbaum

Andrew J. Griesbaum (Andy) was born February 11, 1952 to Andrew Francis and Marie Griesbaum. He left with Jesus on March 9, 2023. Andy loved by many including those he was survived by: his wife Sylvia, his sons Troy (wife Betty) and Darryn, his daughters Angela and Rachel (husband Brad Slotto), his sister Marilu (husband Terry a.k.a Bear Pedigo). 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Andrew grew up in the Spokane area and spent most of his time between Spokane and Colville. Andy spent most of his working life driving trucks and finally retired from WA State DOT in 2017. His favorite job was being a grandpa/papa and took up the official job title of "nap buddy". He seemed to do his best work with a grandkid napping along with him. Andy was a good brother, husband, grandpa and friend. Once you were his friend, you were his friend forever. He was meticulous in the things he cared for. He enjoyed life and loved the outdoors. The simple things meant the most to him. He could spend hours watching deer graze in a field or chipmunks running up and down the trees. Andy had three great loves; hunting, hunting season and his 18 grandkids… well maybe four loves… as those that were close to him would joke, Andy's day was only as good as his hair.
