Ada Rose Ranniger

Ada Rose Ranniger age 74, died December 5, 2025 in Chewelah, WA.  Ada was born January 1, 1951 in Dallas, TX.

Ada met the love of her life, Carl Davis, through her good friend David.  The couple would marry and share the next 40+ years together.  They would raise their boys in Vancouver, Washington and later move to Addy, Washington in 1996.

Ada was stay at home mom and homemaker for her family.  She volunteered at her sons' schools regularly.  When son, Carl Jr. completed Basic Training in South Carolina, Ada was there to support and love.

She became a professional baker and cake decorator in her spare time.  She made cakes for ALL occasions.  Son, Carl, remembers being "forced" to eat cake weekly while she practiced and developed her skills.  Ada's cakes were works of art to those that were fortunate enough to have one.   Ada loved to paint as well, listen to music, and DANCE.  She loved to dance!

Those that knew her best would describe her as a sweetheart.  Ada was very outgoing and friendly.  She loved animals and was always taking in strays – making sure they were cared for and loved.

2007 marked a year of significant loss for her.  Her son, Mark and his daughter, Aundianna were killed in a tragic car accident.  That same year, Carl Sr. would pass as well.  Grieve, she did.  She lived as well.  Ada would help care for Mark's grandchildren to stay close to them all.

Ada is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Sr.; Son, Mark and Granddaughter, Aundrianna.  She is survived by son, Carl Jr. (Sheila) and family, Mark's wife and remaining children, and brother, Robert Ranniger.
